How to fast for Putrada Ekadashi
Fasting of Putrada Ekadashi is done in two ways, one is with water and the other is Nirjala, this fast is also called as Falahar, the people who have to do this fast should eat a simple diet from the beginning of this fast on the tenth day. Apart from this, they should also follow Brahmacharya. A person fasting on the day of fasting should take a pledge to take a bath after worshiping Lord Vishnu in the morning. On the day of Putrada Ekadashi, one should perform bhajan-kirtan of Lord Vishnu in the evening, after that a hungry person should have food and after that open his fast.
How to worship on Putrada Ekadashi
On the day of Putrada Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning and after bathing after getting free from routine work, wear a clean cloth and light a lamp in front of the idol of Srivishnu and offer fruits to Lord Vishnu. Always remember to use Tulsi in the worship of Lord Vishnu and perform aarti with incense and lamps.
