“We live in a world where lifelong learning has become a necessity,” says Betsey Vandenbosch, chief materials officer at Kasera. “In order to adapt to the ever-changing landscape, people have to practice continuously or iterate to succeed in their careers, and online learning allows quick access to high-quality content in high-demand areas.”

Whether the courses offered through Coursera are accredited or not is credited by the college or university and not by Kasera. Before enrolling, it may be a good idea to check out some reputable third-party reviews. A major difference between Kaursera and Udemy is that some Cortera courses are affiliated with universities and can obtain degrees through a user platform, but Udemy courses are not accredited and are made by individuals. Through its online community, Udami offers people a chance to earn money by developing and teaching courses.
Udemy has extensive libraries of many subjects. Users can purchase individual courses to meet their needs and interests, but do not offer the same membership or study as Udemy Kasera’s expertise.
Like Coursera, edX offers courses affiliated with colleges and universities, and edX users can obtain degrees through the platform.
In addition to professional certifications, edX offers the MicroBachelors program, which allows the platform’s website, as well as the MicroMasters program, which edX says can help users earn degrees faster, according to “genuine, transferable college credit partners. College comes from one of the “college credits”. A university must accept its MicroMasters certificates for credit.
Both Kaursera and edX connect users with everything from music theory to the history of ancient civilizations to data science.
The diversity of Udacity’s curriculum is lower than that of Cantera, as the former focuses on skills-based professional training without art and humanities courses.
Many Udnes courses on science and technology. The platform partners “with leading technology companies to learn how technology is changing industries and teaches critical technical skills that companies are looking for in their workforce,” according to its website.
Udness offers the Nanodegree program, in which students complete courses and projects to develop job-related skills. Users who earn a nanodegree can show employers their resulting portfolio demonstrating these skills, but according to its website, Udness is not recognized and does not award degrees. However, Udacity partnered with Georgia Tech and AT&T to award online master’s degrees in computer science.
