Berlin (Reuters) – German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that EU leaders would discuss how more vaccines could be applied to European soil because the supply problems of the block are more accompanied by a decrease in production capacity.
Legislators said on Thursday after the EU leaders summit that British production sites are building for Britain and the United States is not exporting, so we depend on what we can do in Europe .
“We have to assume that the virus, with its mutation, can remain in our possession for a long time, so this question has gone much further this year,” he said.
In addition, more work should be done on ensuring that the rest of the world was supplied vaccines, otherwise new mutations will continue to emerge, some of which may be vaccine resistant, Merkel warned.
